What fuels can I use?

Wood or coal. No gas, no electricity. Real fire.

What is the difference between the Nomade EVO and the XL model?

The EVO is modular. The XL is just bigger.

The EVO features a locking system, an included raised grill, and is compatible with the raised griddle (sold separately). It is also thicker (3-4 mm vs. 3 mm) and heavier (9 kg vs. 5 kg).

The XL offers a larger surface area (36 × 29 cm vs 40 × 25 cm) but without modularity.

If you want a barbecue that evolves with you, get the EVO.

Is the EVO suitable for slow cooking and smoking?

Yes. The included raised grill allows for indirect cooking. Perfect for low and slow cooking, large cuts of meat, and light smoking.

How does the locking system work?

Once assembled, the system locks the plates together. They don't move. During transport, everything remains compact and secure.

No tools needed. Just your hands.

How to use the handles safely?

The handles are designed to lift the raised grill during cooking. You can add fuel and adjust the flame without interrupting the cooking process.

Wear your thermal gloves.

Does it rust?

Raw steel develops a natural patina over time. This is normal and protects it. Regular seasoning maintains the surface.

Your EVO doesn't get damaged — it develops a patina.

Is the EVO compatible with other PYROCA accessories?

Yes. The EVO is compatible with the Raised Plancha (sold separately). That's the whole principle of the modular system.

What is the difference between the raised griddle and the slow cooking grid?

The raised griddle is designed for direct, faster, and versatile cooking.
The slow cooking grill is designed for indirect cooking, slow cooking, and large cuts of meat.

Can I buy the other cooktop later?

Yes. The EVO is designed to evolve with your usage. You can complete your setup later.
